The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a variety of delicious options, including wood-fired pizza. The only downsides were limited parking available, which required paying for street options, and some noise from nearby nightlife, but the charm of the place easily overshadowed these issues.

Dealing with the parking situation is tedious—requiring street payment and complicating drop-offs, especially with luggage. Climbing 15 flights without an elevator isn’t ideal, turning what should be a seamless check-in into a real trek. The gloomy rooms, especially the deluxe one with minimal lighting and views of walls, can hit the spirit hard during those dark winter days. Topping it all, breakfast options can feel repetitive over several days, and a lack of room service skirts convenience when late-night hunger strikes.

The hotel boasts a fantastic central location and a friendly atmosphere. My stay was pleasant thanks to the modern facilities and delicious breakfast! Unfortunately, parking was a hassle and the light switch design was confusing. It’s worth a visit, but prepare for some minor inconveniences.

The dining scene around Saga was a flavor-packed adventure! I loved popping over to Baejarins Beztu Pylsur for legendary hot dogs and hitting up Messinn for fresh seafood. Plus, the breakfast spread at the hotel had enough local goodies to keep us fueled for explorations! A fantastic stay overall.

After some back and forth, we ended up with a suite, but it felt like a hassle that could have been smoother. Still, it all turned out fine in the end.

A cozy stay with unexpected warmth

Woke up to the heavenly comfort of our bed. The front desk team was incredibly helpful, pointing us to delightful local eateries, especially the lively Posthus food hall.

However, the climate control struggled on our first night, leaving us to sweat through uncomfortable hours. Even after maintenance, it remained a little too toasty.

saga is absolutely dripping with charm and history. it's located in a cute alley, right in the middle of everything you’d want to visit. the room was comfortable, and the service was spot on, making it a fantastic stay for us. we especially loved how walkable the area was.
