I recently stayed at Hotel Saga in downtown Reykjavik for a few nights. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the attractions. The staff, especially Nicholas at the front desk, were exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping staff was respectful of our schedules and kept our room immaculate. The balcony overlooking the water was a great place to relax after a busy day. The hotel is fairly new, sparklingly clean, and the overall decor is stylish. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and we had a fantastic dinner at the on-site restaurant. The staff even upgraded our room to a suite when they found out it was my husband's birthday. a fantastic find dripping with charm and history.

    Can recommend this hotel.

    The elevator is quite slow.

The hotel was really clean and modern, perfect for our romantic escape. We loved the fact that the bar and restaurant had great staff and a superb menu. the hotel had a great location that was close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The hotel had some construction works going on during our stay, which made it noisy and inconvenient. the air conditioning wasn't working, which made our room uncomfortably warm.

The rooms at Hotel Reykjavik Saga are fantastic! They have air conditioning, which was a lifesaver for me during the hot summer days. The seating area is cozy and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. And the flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained in the evenings. The private bathroom with a shower was clean and modern, and I loved the added touch of slippers and a hairdryer. the room felt like a home away from home.

Personally, I didn't care for the bathrobes provided in the room. But hey, that's just my preference.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and nearby attractions. We also appreciated the modern and clean facilities, as well as the friendly service from the staff. One of the highlights was definitely the delicious meals offered at the restaurant, which had a variety of options to choose from.

During our stay, there were some construction works going on, which resulted in noise disturbances and some technical difficulties. The air conditioning was not working and the room was quite small for the price.
